| 2002, in JiuZhaiGou, Kam met Nick, an Englishman who has been working in the UAE for 17 years. He said "come to the UAE, it's a blah, blah, blah ... place". It could have been just another mindless invitation from another brief fellow traveller. Strange enough, Kam landed in Dubai because of the invitation. Kam writes this up 5 years after it happened.
