Japanese people are ... different, they are simply different.
Japan is a place of A+++++ service. The ground crew who helped with mother's wheel chair proves that point.
Airpot bus. Shuttle service tranferring to domestic Hokkaido flight.
Japanese people are known for their being well dressed. EVERY ONE looks stylish, including kids.
All sorts of cool high heels.
Japanese are also known for their being orderly. Even when they spread casually, they stand in formation.
This is our coach driver. Not the traditional concept Mr. Driver.
They might not be beautiful but they are certainly stylish.
Again, they might not all be beautiful, but that are certainly stylish.
A bunch of teenage kids. Not yet financially ready to dress up.

J people are serious about work. Even when they are idle at work, you don't see them being playful. The most you can see them deviate from standby mode is reading a book.
It's high pressure society in Japan. Alcohol is the most popular relaxant.. Getting drunk in the middle of Sapporo is a means to battle pressure.
People and animal, both fashionable.
They are always IN. Actually, I don't remember seeing any OUT people on the street.
Well, this is not OUT, this is tradition.
Always clean and dignified.
Sometimes you do see examples of bad taste. But trust me, such examples are mere exceptions.
Their hard working is about 5x of my standard of hard working. Plus, I really doubt if they have a lazy mode.

High school kids
I asked a guard where in the ESTA Tower the 100 Yen shop is. He pulled a pile of palm size color printed notes from his pocket, handed me one, traced the red line with his finger, then pointed in a direction with that same finger. I didn't know a word he said but the enthusiasm, readiness and excellingness were all there.
